LeBron James Enters History Books... Scored More than 10 points in His last 500 games in the NBA

Miami Heat star LeBron James became only the fifth person in the history of the NBA to score ten or more points in 500 consecutive games last night.

The power forward bagged a seasonal best of 35 as the Heat romped to a 95-104 victory over the Toronto Raptors, and never looked a doubt to cross the 500 mark.

It's an incredible achievement for James, who is widely regarded as one of the best stars in the sport today, and places him amongst such company as Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone and Moses Malone.

Any sceptics hoping to see the Heat star fall at the final hurdle will have been left disappointed as the Heat were far too good for their opponents last night.

Dwayne Wade was another stand-out performer, amassing 20 points as Miami claimed their first scalp on the road in three attempts.

With James now having not failed to net double digits in 500 consecutive games and having been named an MVP four times, it's only a matter of time before the 28-year-old begins to challenge Michael Jordan for the crown of the greatest ever.
