Caf World Cup Qualifier: Ameobi's Arrival Excites Keshi as Team battles for Ethopia

Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has said he felt happy that all the players invited for the Sunday’s 2014 FIFA World Cup play off between Nigeria and Ethiopia have arrived camp for the big game.

Speaking after Newcastle of England forward Shola Ameobi arrived yesterday, he said all the players can now train together and map out plans together on how to win the away match.

“We are all in camp and I am happy about that. The camp opened on Monday and by Tuesday, some of the players were not in camp but today, we are happy that they are all here to train together and plan together ahead of the match,” says the soccer tactician.

“We have also been talking to the players on the importance of the match and I can tell you that they are all ready to give their best. We all have to be focused and plan well for the match because we need to go there and win the match.

Sports4G can report that the Newcastle forward had flight problem, hence the delay in his arrival. “It was very long and tiring but I am getting used to it. But I want to go to the World Cup with Nigeria, so I must make the sacrifice”, he said
